What is this?
Ride will be at Crystal Springs SnoPark and you should be ready to ride. An extra treat for this ride is that we will be joined by Pat Kennedy from NWAC to help us learn about the Avalanche Center and some great best practices for being safe in the backcountry<br /><br />Join Jon and Edythe for a beginner level ride that is open to all skill levels. This ride will cater to beginners to have a fun and safe day to build confidence. More skilled riders are encouraged to attend and support our other riders and grow our sport in a positive way. Here is what to expect :<br />-These rides will be completely accessible by trail, the majority of which will be groomed trails<br />-Optional off trail play areas will be accessible throughout the ride from trails<br />-The ride will progress at a comfortable pace with frequent checks to ensure the group stays together<br />-Typical ride length 3-5 hours<br />-The rides will be in simple and safe terrain<br />-Suitable for the whole family<br />-There are always numerous breaks to rest, chat, ask questions or practice new techniques<br />All riders are required to have a Radio, Transceiver, Shovel, and Probe.
