HomeChristmas Tree Ride

Last Saturday, 12/10/2005, Elwood and Rebecca Hunt’s cabin in Easton was where the action started for the annual Christmas Tree Ride. Twenty-three snowmobilers armed with tow-behind sleds, saws and permits went Christmas tree hunting. From what I saw at the end of the ride, they certainly bagged some fine trees. It’s funny. When someone wants a 6-foot tree, they always end up with a 10-footer by the time they clean the snow off and work down to the trunk. On the way, a checkout view of the new Reload SnoPark was a great opportunity for a picture.  A perfect day.
